Difference between salesOrdersForOrderHubRequests and salesOrdersForOrderHub REST APIs

Summary:

We are trying to create sales order using REST APIs. In the documentation we found two APIs which almost similar request and response payload. Can someone please help us in understanding the difference between below two APIs and suggest which is preferred one to be used.
