Schedule ESS Job "Generate Daily Breakdown of Absence.." by passing current date in eff date parm

edited Mar 14, 2024 5:06AM in Workforce Management 3 comments

Summary:

We are trying to schedule ESS job "Generate Daily Breakdown of Absence Details" in HCM so that it runs every days and takes the current date as effective date parameter. But when I schedule it , the date which I pass into the effective date parameter doesn't seem to be incrementing. Increment effective date parameter is checked also by default.

So consider this example:

I schedule the process to run on a daily basis with today's effective date i.e. 13 March 2024.

What it does is, it runs the process with effective date parameter as 13th March and then submits another instance of this process to be run on 14th March 2024. But I still see the effective date in the scheduled process as 13th March for the 14th March run. So the effective date parameter doesn't seem to change.

Howdy, Stranger!
