Exclude CEO from approval cycle

Appreciate your assistance to guide us in the below issue.

We need to exclude specific employee "CEO" from the approval chain in the management hierarchy.

We have tried the below expression in the specify Skip Rule in BPM but it did not work

/task:task/task:payload/ns1:getAssignmentByTransactionIdResponse/ns1:result/ns8: UserId

/Task/task:task/task:payload/ns2:getRequestorInformationByUserName/ns2: UserName
