Regular Hourly/Salary element removed when job offer errors and employment start date is retro dated

When we extend a job offer to a union associate and then move the associate to HR, the job offer will error. After this occurs, our HRIS Administration team will go into the errored job offer and manually reprocess the associate to HR. The salary/hourly element entry is visible at this point. After this, the associate's employment date is updated to an earlier date (i.e. from 3/15/24 to 3/04/2024). The salary/hourly element is essentially "removed" when the employment start date is moved to an earlier date. Is there something in the element set-up that is causing the salary/hourly element to be removed when the employment start date is moved earlier?

Howdy, Stranger!
