Changes done using VB Studio are upgrade safe or not in Redwood

Like in the world of Experience Design Studio, the changes done were upgrade safe meaning customers don't have to check them after every upgrade if the config is intact or not.

In Page Composer, the changes can get impacted due to upgrades and hence it wasn't considered upgrade safe.

What about changes done using VB Studio. Can we say changes done under VB Studio for Redwood Page is Customization or Personalization?

Are these changes upgrade safe? Meaning customer doesn't need to keep checklist of things done using VB Studio which they should verify post upgrades.
