Email trigger/notifications to group of users based on SCM Event

Is there any way we can send emails to a user/group of users based on the occurrence of supply chain events? Such as

1.Whenever a new sales order is created for specific Items, an email should be sent to group of users (orders created fom scratch and copied)

2.Whenever a work order gets created in unreleased status for specific Items (From Back to Back Make flow) an email should be sent to group of users.
