How to customize e-mail body in Taleo?

In Taleo Enterpise edition , 23D, I am trying to customize a message template with message type as 'read-only attachment'. When the e-mail is triggered, it has a generic e-mail body and the message attached as a PDF. Pls let me know if there is a way to customize the message in the e-mail body.
