Can we place alerts on assignment segments in a Workforce Compensation Cycle?

We have a complex Workforce Compensation Plan that was configured to use assignment segments withing the worksheet display. My customer wants to place the following alert on the assignment segment for %'s that exceed another field within the assignment segment, but I am unsuccessful. The advanced criteria options look to only reference the "parent" row of the worksheet display. The alert will read "Payout Maximum % exceeds Personal Achievement %".
