Ability to attach attachments when communicating with external candidates

Want to understand if ORC supports attachments when communicating with external candidates.

Researching customer connect, I see there is no delivered functionality and the workaround is to use them as links in the communication. Can someone please confirm if this in on roadmap / other workarounds followed in your projects.
