Hiring Manager access to activity and messages tab

How do we go about removing access for Hiring Managers to see other applications a candidate has submitted (activity tab), where they are not part of the hiring team? The same applies for the messages tab, we wish to remove access to 'all other candidate emails' for Hiring Managers.

Is this a mix of security / page composer?
