Is there a way to identify deleted journals so that we can exclude them from reporting?

Summary:

Is there a way to identify deleted journals so that we can exclude them from reporting?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have a problem with our reporting when an unposted journal entry was deleted.

For example: Monday there is an unposted entry. On Wednesday the entry is deleted prior to posting. Our query run on Thursday will still show the entry out there. Incremental load doesn't pick up the change that the entry was deleted. We are hoping that there is something in the background that we can query to exclude the deleted entries. Currently, when you look for the entry in manage journals, it just isn't there anymore.

Howdy, Stranger!
