Is it possible to sweep a receivables adjustment that has already been approved?

Hi,

Previous month period cannot be closed because an adjustment has not been posted to GL yet. It is required to sweep it to current month in order to close last month period but after running "Sweep Receivables Transactions" process, the accounting date does not change (it stays in last month).

So, the question is... Is it possible to sweep an adjustment even when it was already approved?
