Restrict user access to update fulfillment line attributes on sales order.

Summary:

In back to back scenario, when a user updates the dates in the work order corresponding to sales order, then by standard functionality, those changes are also done in the sales order. Is there any way to restrict access to the user to stop the automatic changes done on the sales order by this user?

I have tried removing some update privileges from custom order manager role and order orchestration and error recovery manager custom roles. But still when that user updates the dates on work order, still automatically the modifications happening on sales order.

Kindly can you please provide any work around for achieving this.
