How Does Send Reminder from Data Submission Report for Talent Review Meeting Work

When you go to a Talent Review Meeting that is in the Not Started status and go to Data Submission Report, there is the ability to Send Reminder to reviewers to complete their talent review assessment. How does this work? It makes it seem like it should be dynamic - click Send Reminder for the selected Reviewers and expect a notification to be sent. But we don't get any email notifications.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We are testing how the Send Reminder feature works from Data Submission Report for Talent Review Meetings. After clicking Send Reminder, I do get a confirmation that the reminder was sent to the selected people, but no emails are getting generated (nothing shows in the bell notification icon but seems like nothing would appear there anyway?). We have the Talent Notification enabled for the Talent Review Reminder task, and we also have the Alerts Composer - Talent Review Tasks Alert for Reminder notification of task due also set to Yes.
