Hi,

I am trying to setup a rule for Journal approvals for GL. the journal batch source is Manual. When I search for FinGlJournalApprover in BIP Task maanger, IT asks me to use spread sheet. I have seen multiple videos showing configuring this in BIP itself.

IS there any setup to use BIP as against a spreadsheet?

I downloaded the basic template and have entered the values. My rule requires only one level of approval. The spread sheet has a column called Top Approver which is populated as FINUSER30. Since this is a one level setup, I do not have any top approver name. The approver will be always the manager of the person who creates the journal. Looks like this field is mandatory.
