Management reports - function which Allows to check if Text Values in two Columns is the same

There is presently no function within management report which allows us to Compare two Text Values in different, cells, columns or rows

We were working on a report where we are deriving text values in two columns and wanted to create conditional formats based on whether the text values match or not. There is at the moment conditional format allows only numeric comparions between columns and there is no option to compare text values.
