How to restrict Page using Legal Entity/Business Unit/Job Title

edited Apr 10, 2024 2:23PM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Hi,

We have received new requirement to restrict few access/icon for employees using Legal Entity or Business Unit or Job Title, do we have process in place to achieve without creating any new custom role.

Example: We are releasing Redwood UI for our major locations now and few locations planning to release mid of this year. To restrict Redwood for few locations we are creating new custom role and restricting using EL expression condition as #{!securityContext.userInRole['ABCD_ESS_CUSTOM_ROLE']}.

Is that possible to restrict EL Expression using Legal Entity/Business Unit/Job or any other options? To avoid creating multiple custom role to achieve our requirement. Also, If we use Legal Entity/Business Unit/Job or any other options then customization/restrict privilege is available in all pages or we have some limitations.

Howdy, Stranger!
