Trouble converting Double to Decimal/Numeric

Summary: Attempting to create a BI report which creates a file for sending via SFTP to a 3rd party. When creating the Data Model, I'm able to use OBIEE in the SQL query pulling the Deduction Amount from "Payroll - Payroll Run Results Real Time"."Payroll Run Results"."Amount". Although, this value has a data type of "Double" and the only alternative is "Long". I've not been successful converting the data type from Double to either Decimal or Numeric. I'm also using an etext layout template for the report where I'm able to 'FORMAT_NUMBER' to display only two chars to the right of
