How to disable customer ship to site in the sales order creation

Hi,

We have some customer master data in which there are sites with purpose "ship to" that need to be disabled as they are no longer active. We haveentered the end date in the Address Purposes,

but if I try to enter a new sales order the disabled site continues to be selectable.
This causes inconvenience to our customers as there are similar addresses, (but different site numbers). If lines in the same order have different ship
to site then they cannot be grouped in the same shipment. How can I make sure that disabled locations are also disabled on the sales order side?
