Redwood Team Learning - default saved search is not defaulted

As per 23B Redwood Team Learning feature, managers should be able to "Create your own saved searches and set a default search to use when you open Team Learning."

As a manager, when accessing My Team > Learning, adjusting the filters on the My Team tab and saving a search (marked as default), when the manager leaves Team Learning, operates elsewhere in the system, and then goes back to Team Learning, the default search is not loaded.

We have enabled Activity Sequencing and the Redwood user Experience and undertaken all the other steps in the 23B instructions, however we cannot get the default search to be loaded when the manager opens Team Learning. They have to select it every time.
