ESS process to reassign pending approvals for terminated employees to their line managers

Summary: The existing "Run Reassign Pending Approvals for Terminations and Correct Invalid Supervisor Assignments" is too broad. We need a way to reassign pending Purchasing (PR, PO and PO Change Orders, Agreements, Supplier approvals, etc) for terminated employees without updating/impacting HR records.

Please see and upvote this existing Idea entered under Payables. The reassignment of pending approvals would be for any employee (not just managers) to their line managers. This would avoid the need to either (a) manually reassign the pending approvals in the workflow console or (b) manually withdraw PR/PO/PO Change order with pending approvals and modify. In some cases due to our approval rule setup, manual modification of the source transaction is not possible or does not allow us to bypass the terminated employee resulting in delays in obtaining approvals.
