Updates to required Fields

The request from HR is to change the First and Last name questions on the career site to
Legal First Name
and
Legal Last name

I followed the instructions in the link above
setup and maintenance > Search Manage Person Name Styles
clicked on Universal,
Then changed display
First Name to Legal First Name
Last Name to Legal Last Name

When i go to apply for a job in the career site the display text for first and last name has not changed it still says
