What is the better model to design injection moulding process - Discrete or Process?

Summary:

Our client has three different processes - injection moulding, packaging, & customized packing with barcoding, the later two fit the discrete model perfectly. In order to maintain harmony between all the process done within the same premises and the fact that injection moulding is standardised in terms of material & operations; I don't see any impelling reason why we should go for process manufacturing.

Experts, I am sure some of you might be having moulding process within your organizations and have adopted to discrete or process model. What type of production process have you chosen and why?
