Sick leave during a Public holiday - the day's duration should be added back to Annual leave balance

Summary:

We have a requirement where If an employee is on sick leave during a Public holiday that day should be considered as sick leave and the day's duration should be added back to employee's annual leave balance.

I have used Duration Calculation Formula so that the Public holiday between sickness duration is considered as sick leave but unable to add the day's duration back to employee's annual leave balance. Please let me know how to achieve this. Thank you.
