Mathematic Calculation in Compensation Change Statement RTF template

Hello experts,

I would like to create a calculation in the rtf template, so every time the template is generated we can see the outcome of that calculation.

To be more specific, I would like to multiple two columns:

COLUMN 1 = 100

COLUMN 2 = 2%

I tried to use the extended sql and xsl expression for multiplication, but it is not working:

<?xdoxslt: BASE_SALARY_CURRENT*CUSTOM_COLUMN16_NUMERIC?>

Has anyone achieved a multiplication in the rtf template?
