Scheduling absence accruals process with future effective date '31-DEC-2024'
Summary:
We need a way for employees to be able to see their entire year's absence entitlement from Me—>Time & Absences. Currently it defaults to displaying the balance as of today.
For this, we are thinking of a solution wherein we schedule the 'Calculate balances and accrual process' with a future effective date as 31-Dec-2024 (or the end of the respective year) and have it run everyday, and then configure the absence batch parameter to display balance as of 'last calculation date'.
Has anyone tried this approach and what are the potential impacts that we might need be aware of with this solution please?
