Creation Date Field Not Populating Data in Redwood UI Create Page

There is a field called Creation Date in the Classic UI create page, and we are trying to replicate it on the Redwood UI creation page as well, but somehow the field doesn't populate data on the create page but only in the details page, unlike in Classic UI. What would be the reason, and how can it be resolved?
