Booking & Target Attribution for Manager/Parent Member in Resource Planning Model in Sales Planning
Summary:
We are using Resource Planning Model; the Resource dimension follows the hierarchy outlined below:
- All Resources
- Chief Commercial Officer
- General Manager Sales
- Head of National Sales
- National Sales
- Head of National Sales
- General Manager Sales
- Chief Commercial Officer
At the lowest level, we have National Sales. Both National Sales and Head of National Sales manage accounts, with Head of National Sales overseeing key accounts.
Our objective is to attribute last year's bookings and targets to both National Sales and Head of National Sales. However, when historical data is imported into the cube against Head of National Sales and National Sales resources, the booking value displayed under Head of National Sales only aggregates the bookings from National Sales resources, neglecting the Head of National Sales bookings.
