Child Assets in the logical Hierarchy

The Asset hierarchy feature allows users to create the parent and child asset relationship but when we add the child asset to a logical hierarchy we have noted that the child asset cannot be selected in the logical hierarchy and only parents assets are available in the selection. Moreover, when we enter parent asset, all assets that are child to it are populated in the logical hierarchy.

Our requirements is to be able to assign the child asset to logical hierarchy independent to that of parent due to business scenarios as under:

Our Client define Asset Hierarchy (called as Equipment Hierarchy) to define Parent and Child Asset relationship whilst they setup logical hierarchy to maintain Assets in the locational hierarchy.
