Business Rule for Minimum Salary Threshold Needed

Summary:

We have received a requirement to establish a minimum salary threshold for Exempt Employees during the New Hire process that will set an error anytime an Exempt Employee is attempting to be hired below the threshold of $50,000.

We are aware of The Salary Range Violation Behavior functionality under the Salary Basis related to the grade ranges, however, this requirement is not related to Salary Grade Ranges.

The requirement is more specifically related to setting a rule that regardless of Grade Range, anytime an Exempt employee is attempting to be hired at less than $50,000, Oracle does not allow this to happen. Is there a rule that can be setup to accomplish this? If so, how is this done?
