Issue with Element creation with Calculation Rule as Factor
Summary:
Requirement: Element 'Car Allowance' is 30% of the 'Regular Salary' for the employee.
We have followed following steps:
- Element Regular Salary is created of calculation rule as Flat Amount.
- Element 'Car Allowance' is created of classification 'Standard Earning' and calculation Rule as 'Factor'.
As per below document, the car allowance should have following values automatically available.
Note: All screenshots are from test instance so no sensitive info is shared.
However the special purpose is disabled for Car allowance Element, pay value input value, as shown below.
It is not even allowing to update the special purpose as this is disabled.
