Hourly Increase with Salary Component Not Displaying Correctly After Transfer to Core HR

edited May 13, 2024 1:10PM in Compensation 2 comments

Summary:

For our hourly employees, rounding rules on the salary basis make the Comp adjustment appear incorrectly.

What we're seeing is that if we push a salary change from the comp module to our 'Merit' Component of $0.48312, it shows in the UI after the Transfer process has run, as a Merit adjustment of 0.48 in Core HR, with a total adjustment value of 0.49.

Because on our salary basis we have a rule to round UP to the nearest 0.01. but the component doesn't round up in the UI, so to our users it looks like the EE is getting a phantom 0.01 that we know is because of rounding but doesn't look correct.

Howdy, Stranger!
