Compensation amounts are getting delayed in getting paid to the employees

The compensation bonuses that get entered are being entered with current date (as per Oracle's seeded setup) from compensation page, by the time the transaction gets approved, if it takes e.g 15 days, the employees are not getting paid for all the pay periods as per the date when when the transaction was entered, this is creating issue for us.
Is there a way by which we can make sure that the element entries are created for the date when the transaction gets approved by the approvers which would also not delay the process and the employees get paid for the bonus.
