ASO MDX member formula - Unable to suppress 0 in SmartView

Summary:

We have hierarchy that contains a member with a formula. A parent member of the member formula is in Columns. When we turn on suppress rows (Missing & 0) and drill on another dimension in rows, it does not suppress (all) of the rows with 0

How can we enable row suppress with member formula?

We seem to be able to use suppress rows if we use NONEMPTYTUPLE in the member formula, however the drill down performance is very slow vs w/o NONEMPTYTUPLE
