Unable to select earned discounts receivable activity during remittance bank account creation

We have already created the Earned Discounts as a Receivable Activity for a particular BU. When we are creating a remittance bank account for a receipt method, we are not able to see the Earned Discounts in the drop down.

Can someone highlight what could be the issue?

The instance is on 24B.
