How to identify C-Suite leader in headcount report

I'm trying to add a column that will identify our C-Suite leaders for each employee in headcount report. C-Suite leader would be the CEO - 1 or whomever is the top-most manager that is not the CEO. I don't need the entire manager hierarchy, I just want to be able to add 1 column for C-Suite leader to our reports so that we can do analysis by those leaders. What is the best way to do this?
