Hire a new Employee Payroll section Add button

Hi All,
Similar to compensation section in Hire a new Employee transaction is there a provision for add button in payroll section as well is planned in upcoming releases.
Please let us know without this add button is there any steps to default the payroll based on country and exempt or non exempt specific conditions.
