UK payslip earnings section retro elements not displaying subsequent months

We have an issue where if a retro element is applicable in a certain month it displays correctly but in subsequent months the retro drops off again. We would like it to continue displaying thereafter for all future months with period to date as zero but still showing in the year to date balance
