Set section selection for transaction (like Change Assignment) by system person type?

Summary:

Is it possible to set which sections show when doing a transaction, like Change Assignment, by which system person type (contingent or employee) the person is. ie. if doing a change assignment transaction for a contingent worker i'd like the Salary section not to show at all. Not be available to select and not be a mandatory section.
