Summary: Issue with adding alert accelerator to Integration

I have downloaded the Oracle Alerting Service accelerator and want to import into existing Integration for Import Payables into ERP. The accelerator is configurated and activated, but when I attempt to add as integration to the Global Fault Handler, OIC 3 does not open the Integration Adapter wizard nor does it let me select the Alerting Service. What is causing this?
