Gross Up Element is inflating both the gross and net pay to a huge number

edited May 22, 2024 12:51PM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 1 comment

Student Loan balance 'Gross-Up Calculation' radio button under balance dimension is checked as 'Included' by default.

The 'Gross Balance Exclusion' part in the Gross up element does not have anything as 'Excluded'

The Gross up element is setup as 'Process Separately and Pay with other Earnings'

Steps I followed -

1. Added Gross up element to an employee as 100 GBP

2. Ran the QP and instead of paying the Net as 100 GBP the Net is coming more than 400 GBP and the Gross is around 1100 GBP which should not be the case.

3. When the employee does not have any Student loan the Gross Up element is coming fine.

Howdy, Stranger!
