Archiving a hierarchy in Oracle Fusion and creating a new hierarchy

Good afternoon. I am looking for advice in Oracle Fusion re archiving a hierarchy and creating a new hierarchy. Does anyone have any guidance re this please? Particularly around setups, requirements, impacts and things to take into consideration. The request is from Finance colleagues who wish to be able to make restructure changes to a new hierarchy whilst the archived hierarchy will remain unchanged. Thankyou
