Issue with Entra ID initiated sign-on

We are having an issue with SSO (SAML) authentication to Oracle Fusion ERP from Microsoft Entra.

We have setup a new Enterprise Application inside of our Microsoft Entra tenancy and are attempting to setup SAML authentication as identity provider-initiated sign-on.

To do this, we need to leave the “Sign on URL” blank as per the Oracle instruction (below **) However, it seems Oracle has marked this as a required field in the enterprise application. Could someone please advise how to either, stop this being a required field, or provide a work-around to allow for IDP initiated signon via Microsoft Entra?

** “Sign on URL is used if you would like to perform service provider-initiated single sign-on. This value is the sign-in page URL for your application. This field is unnecessary if you want to perform identity provider-initiated single sign-on.”

Howdy, Stranger!
