Unable to change the lot, grade of item after work order return

we have requirement to change the lot of an item returned to inventory via work order return.

1. create a work order for an asset linked to asset item
2. retrurn a asset identofied by lot and serial number to the inventory as part fo work order execution
3. Unable to change the lot of asset during work order return or in the inventory module
