ressources type don't appear

Summary:

I created a new ressources type to enable the fonction ''Used for Quota Management''.
When i go in a ressource to change the ressources type, the new one doesn't appear.

I need to create a new field ressource to be able to see the new ressources type.

Is there a way to change the ressources type without creating a new field ressource?
This is a show stoper for us to use Quota.
