How to manage View vs. Edit access to Candidate Extra Information (EFFs)

Summary: Need ability to manage View vs. Edit privileges for Candidate Extra Information (internal)

We have a number of Candidate Extra Information pages and associated contexts where we collect and manage information not supported via the native field offerings. Some user populations will enter data while others should only be able to read it (view only). Has anyone discovered a creative way to manage this? If there is a way to manage View vs. Edit at the page level or segment level, that might help.
