Applicant Submission Date provided in HDL is not shown correctly in UI

We are migrating Applicant's data from legacy system to Fusion Recruiting and we noticed when applicant submission date is provided past-dated through HDL, it still shows as data migrated date (sysdate) in UI. Through reporting am able to see the actual dates. Please let us know if you have faced this issue and how did you handle historical data.
