How to manage internal candidates applying as external
Summary:
Employees applying externally with a personal email address will not be picked up as employees until the HR phase, how are others managing this potential problem?
Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):
So my understanding on the current functionality is as follows:
- If candidate applies using corporate email, they are redirected to internal career site, or if they click on I am Employee icon. BUT if they ignore this and continue…
- Enable the automated duplicate check on the first phase/state, i.e. as soon as candidate applies. This will highlight any potential duplicates but ONLY against other external candidates as duplicate check isn't available for employees and contingent workers at this stage. So even a manual check would not highlight that John Smith (j.smith@invalidemail.com) is the same as employee John Smith (john.smith@companyemail.com)
