How to trigger credit check step just before pick release?

Summary:

We have setup the credit check task in order orchestration to handle credit check at the time of dispatch. As soon as the order has been booked the order status is getting updated quickly to Created --> Scheduled --> Credit Check --> Awaiting Shipping.

This is checking credit within few seconds of order booking. But the user wants the credit check to happen just before pick release. Since the picking activity will happen after many days of order booking.

Is there any solution for this.
