Natural Account (SEGMENT2) Description on a custom report

Hello,

We have built a custom report to compare the FA SLA balances to GL which contains an account column but which GL table do we use to include the account description (read COA value set value descriptions for the natural account segment).

I have tried some queries with SEGMENT2 and DESCRIPTION from GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS as well as GL_JE_LINES, GL_JE_HEADERS. I see a description column but with blank values,
